FAFSAReady Initiative

A proclamation from Governor Kathy Hochul declared April 2024 as Financial Aid Awareness Month in New York State to help inform students and families of the importance of completing the FAFSA and the many financial aid options available to them. This initiative is the first, in a major push from the Governor to prioritize the completion of FAFSA applications. Student’s who completed the FAFSA were 70% more likely to go onto college and complete their degree.

My role included leading the art and creative direction for this initiative. This included naming the initiative, creating the identity, a resource toolkit for students, school counselors, and financial aid professionals, and social media assets and videos.
